Another Three Years!

Updated: Feb 1, 2024

On Sunday evening 21st January Canon Mark Warrick's licence as our minister in charge would have expired, the eve of his 70th birthday, but the Bishop of Lincoln has directed that the licence be extended for three years. Thus we shall continue with the same pattern of ministry until January 2027 when the situation will have to be reviewed again. It is to be hoped that by that date there will be some idea of the way way forward, with the Stamford mission partnership and the South Kesteven deanery partnership both fully functioning and able to provide stable ministry across the area.

After the morning service on 21st January we shared cake and sparkling wine to celebrate both Fr Mark's impending birthday and the extension of his licence to minister.
